Home > Play "pick a box"
This lets you try playing the Pick a Box game to see if the actual statistics correspond to the problem's solution. Select a number of plays you want to try, and wether you want the box to be opened randomly, only if it's empty, or only if it's empty and not picked. (Regardless, only the attempts where the opened box neither contains the prize nor was picked will be counted.)

The Switch Ratio is the number of total counted games divided by the number of games where the played is better off switching their selection.

Play the game:
Play games. (Totals)
Open a box the player did not select, with no prize.
Open any box, but discard the attempt if it has a prize or the player selected it.
Open any empty box, but discard attempt if it's the box player picked.
