Burning Man
I just got back from Burning Man. This year was my first time going, and I have to heartily recommend it to anyone who is even remotely interested in such things.
I have been procrastinating about it for the past four years ("yeah, it really sounds nice, but maybe next year...") and decided to take the plunge this time. What I found was a surreal and beautiful place filled with strange but extremely friendly people.
I fully intend to go again next year. |

Re: Burning Man
Whoohoo, I never heard about Burning Man before, but I am fascinated, I read hours and hours on the web site. If I can ever convince my wife, I'll be there. Chances are slim though and with my age/temperature problem, a desert may not be the right place. Levik, if ever you are in Belgium around july 21st, check out Ghentse Fieste, you'll love it. |

Re: Burning Man
Thanks for the tips guys. I'll be at the End Of The Road next weekend if anyone fancies a chilled one. |

Re: Burning Man
"End of the Road"?
Sounded like an English Pub, especially with the offer of a 'coldie'! Pint would be nice!
Google sent me on a journey for "Boyz||Men".
That not seeming approp. I next landed in Patagonia - Life at the End of the Road.
Now I find "www.endoftheroadfestival.com/". Yes, that looks more like the theme. I'll decline, I don't need my luggage ruffled unnecessarily at Customs :-)
Enjoy your weekend Sir Will Percivale. |
