Sketchpad Question

Sketchpad question

A lot of my mathematical expressions are becoming
too big. In sketchpad can I do the following:

Say I have the expression a+..subexpr../z, can I
define a symbol b = subexpr and replace the
large expr with a+..b../z ?

I can see why the new expr might not have the
same properties as the old expr.

Re: Sketchpad Question

are you talking about f(g(x))? You can definitely do that.

If the formulas are taking over, try Desmos.

Geogebra is a hybrid and lets you graph formulas and geometry at the same time.
