Suggested Feature

My suggestions don't seem to draw too much feedback, but here goes another one:

How about giving users the option of clicking a box by a puzzle that says, "Watch this puzzle." Then, have a link in the main menu on the right side for "Your Watched Puzzles (n)". In parentheses would be the number of new comments in those puzzles.

Occasionally, there is a puzzle that is still not solved by the time it leaves the "front page". It can be a bit annoying trying to keep yourself up to date on the problem.

I don't imagine such an option would be too difficult to implement.

Re: Suggested Feature

Perhaps you should "Bug Levik" with a petition to the director.

Re: Suggested Feature

David,

Just wanted to say thanks for the Watch List Idea. I've been using it for a while now and I really like it. I think it was a very good addition. Before you bugged Levik, I constantly tried to remember the location of puzzles that I wanted to keep an eye on. It is soooo much easier now. I wish I had thought of it and I'm glad your idea was added to the features of this site.

Thanks and Irene is right that is a nice.icon or avatar or whatever. It reminds me of (crap I can't remember the name right now) the little chicken hawk in those Foghorn Leghorn cartoons.

Re: Suggested Feature

I agree wholeheartedly. I like the watchlist a lot. I use it to 'save' the occasional "bonus" problem that looks like it would be fun to work on later.

Henery Hawk, I think, was the name of the little chicken hawk. He was OK, but I hated Miss Prissy, "the widow".
