Notes on unposted solutions.

I don't know if this question has been asked and answered before.

I had a problem that was posted, but the solution had yet to be posted. When looking at my solution I noticed that Richard had added notes that I should expand my solution. I did before posting it. What I want to know is how Richard was able to look at my solution and how he was able to add the notes?

Re: Notes on unposted solutions.

All members ranked Journeymen and above are able to look at the "unapproved solutions queue" and make comments on any solutions that show there. Solutions only appear in the queue a few days after the problems are posted.
Scholars can also edit solutions to other author's problems, and even push them live.

The unapproved solutions queue is rather difficult to find. The link is somewhere on the unapproved problems page.

Re: Notes on unposted solutions.

It's next to Unapproved Problems, at the top. It's not very easily seen.

If you post a note that you want us to wait on a specific solution, we will generally do so, so don't worry abou tit being pushed too soon.

Re: Notes on unposted solutions.

Go to problems queue page. Heading - Unapproved solutions (black background with blue characters) Next to this (in white) is Unapproved solutions. This is the link.

Re: Notes on unposted solutions.

Thanks. As many times that I have gone to the "Pending Problems" page I had never noticed the "Unapproved Solutions" link.

Re: Notes on unposted solutions.

It is subtle; I guess like so many, I found it quite by accident. Hey? This is a link? Yes.
