Percy asked "Are there any other html tricks I should know?"

If you want the actual suits instead of saying the letters, try these:

& diams ; = ♦
& clubs ; = ♣
& spades ; = ♠
& hearts ; = ♥

Re: Linking

Do you know why the diamond ♦ does not show up for me?

To make things stranger, sometimes it does appear and sometimes it does not.

Re: Linking

I don't know why, but that happens to me also. In the recent puzzle the square appeared in the title in place of the diamond, but not in the body of the puzzle. Perhaps it's the font.

Re: Linking

Bruce, I think that I understand you correctly.
You are telling us that you have read a puzzle and want to post a solution or comment?

That being the case please go to the FAQ link above the Chatterbox and look at the second section Ooh! Ooh! I know the solution - how do I post it?

I am assuming that you have not yet tried to post a problem for consideration and then wondered how to provide the solution.

I base these comments on the remark "Iam brand new to this site."

Trust this assists. Don't be surprised if someone else adds commentary also, it's part of the 'share game' that this site revolves around.
