I recall a puzzle credited to Sam Lloyd titled 'Whose Birthday?'

I saw it in an old dog-eared book. The illustration shows a family of a father, a mother and a child in front of a birthday cake. Some relationships between the ages are given. The catch was, I thik, that the ages of two of them are not in exact years.

Can anyone help please?
