I'm a newbie

Hello everyone! I was just wondering what got everyone started in this type of problem solving. For me it was a math course. What about you?

Re: I'm a newbie

Hi, Sheila. I guess it was just a hobby of mine to solve problems. My mom says that's lame cuz we already have our own problems like homework.

So am i...a new...bie that is
If you need a riddle for English, do you mean this one?

Which statement is correct: 'The yolk of an egg are white' or 'The youlk of an egg is white?'
(That one's actually a brainteaser)

or this????

I went into the forest and got it,
I sat down to search for it,
I brought it home because i couldn't find it.
What am i?

Re: I'm a newbie

That riddle doesn't make any sense.
The whole time you're talking about looking for 'it', yet in the end, you ask, "What am i?"

Here is a version that is much more cohesive:

I went into the forest and got myself,
I sat down to search for myself,
I brought myself home because i couldn't find myself.
Who am I?
