Logic - Look at the problem list in an area of which you have comfort and study the comments already made.

Re: Incompetent nerd

jeffrey, go through the logic and math puzzles on perplexus. Try to figure them out yourself, and when you run into a problem start reading the submission from other puzzlers. Some only provide the end solution but more people will provide explanations of how they arrived at their answers. Reading their methods for coming to the solution will help you to solve other similar problems.

If you run into references to certain theories, google on those and read what the theory is all about. There will be some theories steeped in higher math that will be byond you at this point, but keep reading.

If you run into something you think you can almost comprehend but it's still mystifying, start a thread int he references forum. That's the place to ask about specific math, number, logic theory.
