Electric Scooter
Electric scooters are allowed on public transit (bus/train/plane) whereas gas-powered scooters are prohibited. Noise and air pollution of gas-powered scooters is eliminated. |

Re: Electric Scooter
OK! did this time.
Interesting fact. Also interesting that, as before when I made my first reply, there is a Gas Scooter Manufacturers ad to the right of this forum.
Back to the issue of pollution though, it is my understanding that there would be pollution by ozone since, to turn the armature, carbon brushes come in contact with the various 'leaves' on the commutator resulting in electric arcing - which produced ozone, small amounts maybe, but ozone anyway. |

Re: Electric Scooter
Could this just be a new "spamming" technique to get Google (Goooooogle?) to display their ads? |

Re: Electric Scooter
Heh maybe. What is interesting is I got this ad when I first saw this page "Electric Scooters starting at $689 to assist persons with disabilities."
Now I see "Electric Razor Scooters", is that a new advance in shaving? |
