Well, I am here.....
....and I still can't work out how to become a student[sad].
I have commented and voted so I guess you want me to post here.....I am frustrated and want to play...can someone tell me how? |

I copied this from the FAQ section:
(Don't worry though - if you are active on the site, posting comments and rating problems you should be promoted to Student within a couple of days.)
And from the Ranking section:
A Novice is promoted to Student if they have rated at least one problem (though rating more is strongly encouraged) and posted at least three comments.
You seem to saying that you have done all of this, except possibly wait out the time for the system to do the necessary processing. You will be aware that on the Home, when you logon you currently have (novice) below your user name. When this changes to (student), you've made it! Hang it there, be a little more patient, it's a virtue, and needed to progress up the ranks.

You have only posted 2 comments and you need to post 3 to get promoted. That is one problem. Post so you have at least 3 comments (you have already ranked one problem so that is taken care of) and then wait until the day after that and you should see your ranking change.
Also, look at the front page to see the Submit A Problem when you do become a Student. Check the site for other similar problems too, as we sometimes get a problem that is already on the site. |

You may have noticed that Ranks are assigned certain priveleges.
Gamer has the ability to look into areas from which I am excluded; I could not know your stats, so please considered what I offered in the context of my lesser ranking.
