What is the longest common word without an a, e, i, o, or u?
Find at least two common words with six consonants in a row.
For the first part, I am amazed that the previous posters all overlooked the very common word twyndyllyngs.
For the second, in addition to catchphrase and latchstring, there are four words that each occurred at least twice in Kerry's Democratic Convention acceptance speech: archchronicler, eschscholtzia, lengthsman, and postphthisic. (Does that mean they are Boston commons?)
