A, B and C just finished their breakfast. One of the boys had apples, another bananas and the third, grapes. If only one of the following four statements is true, who had what for breakfast?
C had bananas.
C did not have grapes.
B did not have grapes.
B did not have apples.
A had bananas, according to our important fact,so certainly not grapes.
If B had grapes, then 2 and 4 would be another case of two truths.
Therefore,B did not have grapes either.
C had grapes.
That leaves B to have apples, since the important facts says that A had bananas.
Only 3 is a truth.
A had bananas,B had apples,C had grapes.
