A real polynomial L(y) satisfies this recurrence relation:

2*L(y) + 1 = L(y-1) + L(y+1) - 1

It is also known that L'(5) = 15, and:

Your methodology is different from the process known to me.

But, I like your method for its originality and simplicity apart from being compact and concise.

Consequently, I confirm having hyperlinked your methodology in my solution.
