The following array of "
*'s" 'masks' four three letter words which are to be read in the usual practice of left to right, and top down.
Now here are some considerations.
1. Letter frequency is not restricted.
2. When all places are filled,
all letters are rotated one place (direction is immaterial) around the square. At that point you must still have four three letter words.
3. Common English words are preferred.
(Words borrowed from other languages are acceptable, but try to limit words rarely found in English.)

In effect you countenance a 3 x 3 'magic square', but with words replacing the appropriate addition sum.
That thought did go through my mind when I embraced this; I think we might need Charlie to utilise a 3-letter wordlist rather than the list that I think he generated from an alphabet string.
Because of the need for a spreading of vowels, and a necessary mingling of consonants I somewhat doubt the possibility.
That there may however be a possibility there then remains (and probably this thought was not intended) a more unlikely possibility that such a scenario exists when rotation occurs.
