Tatami Tiling (Posted on 2016-03-29) Difficulty: 2 of 5
A tatami tiling is a tiling of 1x1 squares and 1x2 rectangles such that no four tiles meet at any point.

Find a tatami tiling of a 5x5 square such that there are five 1x1 tiles, five horizontal 1x2 tiles, and five vertical 2x1 tiles.

sorry but I'm using my phone.  Note the two squares touching.

I like this puzzle so much I'm making it with my schools 3D printer.  Peices will have corners that exclude 4 at a corner and have ridges that force H or V.

I have an excuse. I'm in bed with the flu.   My solution is the same as Charlie's.   It's just a reflection.
