Go for the midpoint (Posted on 2016-06-18) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Point P lies within acute angle XOY.

How can we find a point A on OX and a point B on OY such that P is the midpoint of a segment AB drawn between them?

A slight variation on Bractals'
Note: since A, P, B are co-linear, once you find A you are done.

Construct a perpendicular to XO through P, this line crosses XO at C.
Translate P by the distance CP to P'.
Construct a parallel to XO through P'.
This line hits OY at A.

(I also didn't see a solution quite like this at the other problems Brian Smith linked to.)
