Find this word (Posted on 2017-07-31) Difficulty: 3 of 5
There is a certain common word in English language (say XYZ) such that prefixing it with a letter A creates a new word (AXYZ) that is a plural of another valid English word.

Find it - preferably with pen, paper and your knowledge only.

There is a possibility for several answers...

1. Your examples do not add A, as specified.

2.'has" is not a noun.Nothing in the problem requires  "has"
to be a noun.  Please ignore my unjust   criticism of your valid answer, **
3. "pair" is not a plural.
