Find point O such that the triangles AOB & COD are congruent.

Well, the point labeled E is the A of the puzzle, but the point is, the intersection of EB (consider as AB) with DC does not form a common third vertex with the two lines to make two congruent triangles. You need the intersection of the lines' perpendicular bisectors.
