Seven given - the eighth TBD (Posted on 2018-03-14) Difficulty: 4 of 5
3, 23, 17, 5, 7, 67, 39, X.

The above line represents a finite sequence of 8 integers.

7 are spelled out, the last one is left to be added by you.

If asked to continue the sequence, what options do you suggest
for the next 3 members?

There are several valid solutions.

One thing is that when the sequence arrive at 144 (11*13+1) the highest divisor is, for the first time, not a prime number. So it's necessary to decide if the sequence is to be continued by the highest divisor or by the highest prime.

For 144 highest divisor is 72 and highest prime is 3.
