What is the largest known number of possible moves in any chess position that a player can make at any single turn?

I'd give white 9 queens, 2 knights and a king and black just a king. I would put 8 of the queens into an 8-queen puzzle solution configuration (where they could't attack each other), the 2 knights in corners, and the black and white kings in other corners, putting black not in check. Not sure where to put the ninth queen... Maybe a 3rd knight would be better.
