I never would have gotten this without the hint. Even with the hint it required sleuthing.
Googling "Whatever it takes" gives a couple of bands but "IMAGINE DRAGONS" is the most promising as it has a lot of letters and I've heard of them.
I had guessed the type of restaurant was probably going to be DINER. The letters are all there. Remove them to get
IMAGAGONS
That's tricky. Google was my friend again. The ING ending didn't get far. Fortunately if you get it close enough, Google will say showing results for MAGGIANO'S restaurant.
Apparently this is an Italian restaurant chain. I live in New England but far from Boston which does have a location, but when I visit I know I can do better than some chain restaurant.
