Construct a Pentagram (Posted on 2003-09-22) Difficulty: 2 of 5
I have a strip of paper with parallel sides, a pencil and a straight edge. How can I construct a regular pentagram (star) with these? And for that matter, a pentagon? Well ... the pentagon is the proper way to go.

A trick | Comment 1 of 12
Tie the strip of paper into a knot and flatten it. If done perfectly, the knot will collapse into a pentagon.
