I know Gamer said the missing number is 3 digits, but.....Could 92 go in the blanks also ?

Explanation:

64=M --> a possible reference to Paul McCartney, author of the song "When I'm Sixty-four".

3=R --> might refer to the "3 R's" of our school daze: reading,
writing and arithmetic.

The DP-154 Nokia handheld audio device retails for $92.

50=N --> conceivably refers to the 50 nations (states) that comprise the United States.

So if you put it all together:

"I was listening to 'When I'm sixty-four' by Paul McCartney and the Beatles [64=M] on my way to school [to study the 3 R's], and as the song wafted out of my Nokia handheld player [DP-154], just as I was getting near school [the place to study the 3 R's], I felt so glad to be living in the United States [50 states = 50 Nations].
