Some Thoughts An unusual approach | Comment 22 of 28 |
While I know the focus of this site is math, here's another approach:

2 stands by itself, so either it is "a" or "i"
"e" is the most common letter in the English language
The most common three letter word ending with "e" is "the"

From there, I was able to pretty quickly deduce the remaining letters without resorting to calculations. I was wondering if anyone else attempted this approach of logical deduction.
