When my family decided to tour the states of the U.S., we began with New York, Maryland, Georgia, Maine, and then Texas. What were the next two states we visited?

How about the capitols in alphabetical order...so the next two states would be Lousiana (Baton Rouge) and then North Dakota (Bismark)
