A group of campers have been on vacation so long, that they've forgotten the day of the week. The following conversation ensues.

Darryl: What's the day? I don't think it is Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Tracy: Well that doesn't narrow it down much. Yesterday was Sunday.

Melissa: Yesterday wasn't Sunday, tomorrow is Sunday.

Ben: The day after tomorrow is Saturday.

Adrienne: The day before yesterday was Thursday.

Susie: Tomorrow is Saturday.

David: I know that the day after tomorrow is not Friday.

If only one person's statement is true, what day of the week is it?

I believe it is healthy to have a few assumptions in most puzzles.

Did you notice that in the line above, I added "I believe"?  I believe (there it is again!) that such expressions such as "I believe..." and "I don't think..." are used when the speaker doesn't want to commit to that statement.  The speaker wants to avoid being wrong and labeled a liar.  It is not used so the speaker can honestly say that they think this and that.

My assumption here is that "I don't think" is merely used as an expression, and to get the true/false value of the statement, it must be removed.
