Who's the odd one out? (Posted on 2004-04-10) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Of the words listed below, one is "odd man out." This has nothing to do with the number of vowels, consonants or syllables. Can you find the misfit?

LUMP REAM SAGA PALM

"Saga" is the odd man out. "Saga" is a noun only. "Lump", "ream" and "palm" are each both a noun and a transitive verb.

By the way, how come I'm not a Scholar yet ?
