Who's the odd one out? (Posted on 2004-04-10) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Of the words listed below, one is "odd man out." This has nothing to do with the number of vowels, consonants or syllables. Can you find the misfit?

"This has nothing to do with the number of vowels, consonants or syllables."

The number of vowels meaning lump has 1 vowel, ream has 2 vowels.    Doesn't say anything about a=1 b=2.

It seemed that the quotes in the first sentence "odd man out" might be a clue.  What do you think?
