If I say this problem is unsolvable, then I have contradicted myself because I have confirmed that I can emphatically say it is not, the solution is that it is unsolvable. If unsolvable, I shouldn't be able to conclude that it is unsolvable, so it must be solvable. It can't be both, obviously.
