upside-down (Posted on 2004-05-14) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Can you think of a word in the English language that, when written, can be turned upside-down to result in an abbreviation of the antonym of the original word?
Where "turned upside down" is a 180 degree rotation about a central point. (i.e. "moo" would become "oow")

If an upside down lower case "p" can be either "a" or "d", then "absurd", upside down, forms the judicial abbreviation "pjnsqp", which means "presciently justified, notated scholarship,  quoted precisely", (that is, the opposite of "absurd"), a shorthand often seen on Supreme Court rulings.
