I die half my life and live the rest.
I dance without music and breathe without breath.

What am I ?

consider a leaf, does it take so long to die? they seem to be up 3 seasons and die within one. Trees themselves really dont dance and they do die half thier life in a sense, but i consider the wind whispering through branches to be music. I like the whole particle idea and thats what first crossed my mind, but arn't those things constantly dying, just at such a gradual pace that its only counted at half-lives? that would be dying throughout all of life.

I like the idea of wind being the answer myself, but i dont know how often it dies down and once again it makes a sort of music.

im going to take a wild stab at the dark here and say that the dying part comes first, and all i can think of that dies first are the undead. I haven't heard of undead dancing yet. thuoght that does leave one thing

technically, dying doesn't take all of half their life but it might seem to, so im going to say spirits.
