Solution Wise Number Crunching (possible solution) | Comment 10 of 15 |
The completed sequence:
5, 3, 8, 2, 2, 20, 5, 3, 7, 3, 2, 20, ...

Explanation (this is LAME):

"Musical": "of the Muses, Goddesses of Wisdom"
"Munchies", from To "munch": To transform information in a serial fashion, often requiring large amounts of computation; to trace down a data structure; to number crunch.

"Musical Munchies" = "Wise Number Crunching"

The data structure could be:

5,3,8,2,2,20
5,3,7,3,2,20
5,3,6,4,2,20
5,3,5,5,2,20
5,3,4,6,2,20
5,3,3,7,2,20
5,3,2,8,2,20
5,3,1,9,2,20

In each row, the first, second and fifth numbers are constant. The third declines from 8. The fourth increases from 2. The sixth is the sum of the preceding five, which is constant.
