What are the next two numbers in this sequence?
1, 1, 7, 3, 23, 23, 111, 15, 351, 415, __, __

The numbers I was looking for were 1855 and 319.  Knowing those are the two next numbers, can anyone figure out my method? Or will someone come up with another clever interpretation?!

Since Erik did a very nice job with his solution, I will have to make his a second official solution, when the solution gets posted.
