Base 13 consists of the numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C.

An example is the number 198. 

198 = 1*(10^2) + 9*(10^1) + 3*(10^0) 

198 = 1*(13^2) + 2*(13^1) + 3*(13^0) 

so 198 (decimal) = 123 (base 13)
