Ack! I saw my mistake. I misread the problem. Let’s try again.

(L*4 + R*3)*5 = (R*5 + L*3)*4
20L + 15R = 20R + 12L
8L = 5R
8/5 = R/L

Since R/L is greater than 1, this means that bRown cows produce more than bLack cows, so Brown cows are the better milk producers.
