A man walks up to you and says:
"Everything I say to you is a lie."

Is he telling you the truth or is he lying?

I guess it depends on what reasonable inferences you can draw from the context. With the ant on the rubber band, it's obvious that we're dealing with a math problem. Things like the rubber band being "instantaneous stretched" make it reasonable to assume that science is being relaxed for that problem.

In this particular case, "everything I say to you" seems to at least allow for the possibility that the man has made or will make more than one statement.
