The next number in sequence should be 2,178,309.
Because:
1, 1, 2, (*), 5, (*x2), 21, (*x4), 233, (*x7), 10946. . .
The * represents the missing numbers in our sequence according the the fibonacci thingy.
therefore the next * in sequence is 11. . .
AND . . . eleven places ahead of 10946 is 2,178,309
