Where to 'S'tart (Posted on 2004-11-30)

1st pass encryption - MIF.CLGMFELCMLM.
2nd pass encryption - VO.IOSTSKQOPYY.
3rd pass encryption - K.XXHMMDBFEOX.

1. What answer would Zero pass encryption reveal, given that the encryption method does not change.
2. How much more difficult is it to get to zero level encryption if you don't have the level 1 values, only level 2?

Stop.MyHeadHurts. to encrypt the message add the first 2 letters together eg M+I=V, then add the 2nd & 3rd letters eg I+F=O, to decrypt the message use the reverse of this method, you will need to try more than one possible outcome, to ensure the correct result. 2. Once you know the decoding method, you can force a result from level one by substituting the first letter with each letter of the alphabet, this means you may need to try 26 times to get from the second level you need to decode twice, to ensure an answer that made sense you need to try 676 times.
