One Word, Seven Times (Posted on 2005-01-27) Difficulty: 5 of 5
"Dog dog dog dog dog dog dog."

While dog-lovers rejoice at the above statement, grammarians hang their heads in shame, as the statement is not a grammatically correct sentence.

Replace "dog" with a word that will satisfy the grammarians. You may not add any additional words or punctuation.

Solution You can't add punctuation | Comment 8 of 14 |

If you could add punctuation, this puzzle would be a lot easier.

It might be solved by the use of heteronyms - words that are spelled the same but have different meanings. A word like "post", which has many different meanings.

I could say:

[Create] [quickly] [a postal delivery topic] [Internet message] [after] [that post office topic] [Internet message]:

"Post post post post post post post."
