Crack the five coded messages; all relate to the puzzle's title:

(Note: The numbers in parenthesis are not part of the code; rather, they refer to the "ballpark figure" that precedes them.)

I will solve the first one to show you how it's done. Reverse each pair of digits (08 01 14 11 01 01 18 15 14) and replace each two digits with the letter in the alphabet they correspond to (HANKAARON).
Ergo, the first "ballpark figure" is Hank Aaron. The number (755) after his encoded name is the total number of home runs he hit in his career.
The other four should be a snap.
Note: The first puzzle had a wrong digit... sorry!
