You have a cube of ice floating in a glass of water. The question is what fraction of the ice will be above the water line? Assume that the ice is not bobbing.
Most of you have probably heard the answer to this before. But please provide a proof or solution, along with your assumptions.
I am a puzzles creator. Previously I too make mistakes to create ambiquous puzzles and I receive bad feedback from the puzzles solvers why I scrutinize myself in certain circumstances so as to demand people to have the same solutions as me.
I too know what other people feel since I do have the experience of that letting other people to criticise the puzzles.
That is why I am very conscious to the question that I create. When I create puzzles, I make sure I have mentioned all the conditions and restrictions to lead them to the answer I want.
Even if one day my created puzzles have been approved for comments, I welcome all you'll different comments so as to improve the puzzles in the future. Any different point of view from different angles, I still accept as long as it is justifiable instead of any nonsensical talk.
Don't be upset if somebody points to you this or that. But you have to learn the mistakes so that next time you would clarify all circumstance to lead people to the answer that you want.
