Dividing a donut (Posted on 2005-04-23) Difficulty: 3 of 5
I want to divide the surface of a donut into as many different regions as possible. The regions can be any shape, as long as they are each in one piece. Each region must touch each of the other regions (touching on a corner doesn't count). How many regions can I make?

Actually there are quite a number of ways to have numerous cuttings with numerous regions.

Actually I already have the solutions yesterday.  However, due to I was sleepy and the time constaint yesterday, I could not continue and that was why I carried on the task today.

This is the challenge for you.  Can you think of any way to have numerous cutting with numerous regions with complete cutting.  Actually there are some more.  Could you think of any?  Don't let me to spoon-feed you, but think of it.  This is the real challenge.  I could think of many.  How about you?
