Circle of numbers (Posted on 2005-05-27) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Over 2000 numbers are around a circle. Each number is the sum of its left and right neighbors.

Given that one of the numbers is a one, how many numbers (as a minimum) must there be?

Mc, I never heard about "Claudio Buffara", though I'm interested in math and logic a long time (in fact, since I was born...).

Googling, I found poor material about it. But I confess that I didn't search too much.

How do you know him ?

By the way, I'm dreaming with 1's, x's, (1-x)'s... and the my best shot is still 2003. Let's see what I get today. (sorry for possible mistakes in my english).
