Some consider me good,
and some consider me bad.

Some gather in my house,
because I am a part of a fad.

Sometimes I am dark.
and sometimes I am light.

I could be the savior at sunrise,
and sometimes the savior of night.

What am I?

this answer kind of makes (but is probably wrong anyways) sense so is the answer god or jesus? Because at my church they called my church "the house of god" but then in the riddle they said the word "SAVIOR" so i'm thinking of "jesus" so actually, i was probably totally wrong and i have been wasting the person who's reading this's time
