Ah, I was confused about what you meant, but then I understood: I had misstyped the dates in my previous answer.

Using the list at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_monarchs, Ann is listed twice, though not, like I typed, as 1702-1714, 1714-1727, but rather what I meant to type, 1702-1707, 1707-1714.

Yes indeed, it would have been more than just her title changing had she transformed herself into King George...
