Given positive integer n, consider the set of numbers {n²+1, n²+2, ... (n+1)²}. If we pick two numbers x and y out of that set, how many different values can the product xy take?

Oh, this isn't a FK sequence, but it does illustrate how a consecutive sequence of numbers can produce overlapping products. It may be the case that FK sequences don't produce overlapping products, but it isn't obvious why. At least not to me :-) Make sense?
