Each of the letters A,E,F,H,O,R,T,W,and X represents a different digit from 0 to 9 in the addition below. Can you find out which letters represent which numbers?

I do not see that any base higher than 11 can have a solution. The requirement for the letters to represent "0 to 9" prevents any base higher than 11 to have a carry-over to the highest level.

Specifically E must equal 1. With W=9, no combination of other numbers in base 12 or higher will cause the "carry the one" to create the E in the left most column of the answer.

Hmmm . . . base 9 . . . ?
