Add five more sticks to the six sticks shown below to make nine.

1. add one stick connecting the top of the first stick to the bottom of the second makeing an N.
2. leave the third stick alone
3. do the same thing to the 4th and 5th sticks that you did in step one createing another N.
4. add the last 3 sticks to the 6th stick one at the top, one in the middle and one at the bottom so it makes an E
all together it makes N I N E
