Please, Mr. Postman (Posted on 2005-12-02) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Paul is writing to his overseas sweetheart. He writes a steamy love letter, seals the envelope, and then inscribes the following cryptic address on the front:
                   Wood
                         Av
                   Lynn
                   England
Fortunately, the letter reaches its intended recipient (lucky Paul that the postman knew a lot about encrypting techniques). What is the complete name of Paul's sweetheart and her whole address?

Mmm!

Since Av has been 'misplaced' then a slight nudge to the left provides me with an acronym "WALE".

Could it be that this is the street name, ie Wale Av?

Since we've been playing position, then this seems to be a reasonable thought.

So we have:

Lynn Underwood
Wale Av
Andover
England

But this does not provide a numeric location in that street; good postmen know their clientele so the number may not matter.

Paulo!  Tell me it does! :-(
